The late Bohemian actor Sidney Poitier would be proud of his beautiful daughter, who took after her parent’s acting flair. Sydney Tamiia Poiter has been in the acting scene since the late ’90s. She debuted in the drama series ‘First Years’ and has appeared in countless other films and TV series, including ‘Abby,’ ‘Veronica Mars,’ ‘Knight Rider,’ and ‘Carter.’
Her dad, an Academy Award winner for Best Actor and the first Bahamian and black actor to do so, set the bar pretty high for the lass. Looking at Sydney’s unfolding career, we love that she is more than ready to reach and surpass it.
