Max Baer Jr., 85, Born In 1937 – The Beverly Hillbillies
CBS aired The Beverly Hillbillies in the ’60s, and that’s where Max Baer Jr. gained prominence as Jethro Bodine. Baer is currently the show’s only living cast member. He had a tough time trying to score a significant role in the years that followed. That’s when he decided to try his luck behind the scenes working as a director and writer.
Baer might have unofficially quit the industry, and since his last credit in 2005 when he appeared in an episode of the documentary series Biography, we haven’t seen him in anything recently. As an entrepreneur, Baer has several Hillbillies-themed machines set up at different casinos in the U.S.
