Stefanie Powers – Born In 1942
The mystery TV series Hart to Hart aired in the late ’70s to early ’80s on ABC, and Stefanie Powers portrayed the lead character, Jennifer Hart. Powers reprised the role in eight of the TV movies based on the show. She is slated to appear in the upcoming 2021 TV series On the Verge.
Powers had part of her lung removed in 2009 following a cancer diagnosis the year before. She spent years smoking heavily, and it caught up with her, but fortunately, at 78, Powers is still hard at work in the industry.
