This reporter was determined to add depth to his report, so he decided to think outside the box. He wanted to show just how dry the ground was near the lake with decreasing water levels. He marched out to the supposed “dry” ground, only to find it was quite muddy!
As the screenshot showed, the man was stuck and the cameraman and anchors found the incident comical! It was certainly a “sticky” situation, but thankfully he was able to get some help and get out of it. The moral of the story: it pays to be careful when investigating and reporting, and to think outside the box!
