Maggie Smith – West Byfleet, $5.194 Million

The enormous property, also known as Byfleet Manor, is popular due to its depiction as the home of actress Maggie Smith’s character Dowager Violet in the popular television series Downtown Abbey.

So although Maggie never actually lived in it, it is her on-screen home! Besides, with a fortune of $18 million, it’s safe to assume she would have bought the manor if she wished. The house was last seen on the market in 2015 when it was reportedly sold for just over $8 million, which was more than $2 million higher than its asking price. Her 2021 movie A Boy Called Christmas is currently in production.
